Throughout history, powerful nations have measured strength through armies, warships, missiles, and military technology. Many empires rose because they believed their weapons made them invincible. However, history repeatedly reminds humanity that no power is absolute except the power of Allah.
This truth has guided believers throughout generations. It teaches that nations may possess great military strength. Nevertheless, ultimate power belongs only to Allah.
A Reminder About Power
During a period of heightened tensions in the region, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei remarked:
“A warship is a dangerous piece of military hardware. However, more dangerous than that warship is the weapon that can send that warship to the bottom of the sea.”
For many supporters of the Islamic Resistance, this statement carried significance beyond military matters. It reminded them that no weapon, army, or superpower is invincible. People often place their trust in material strength. In contrast, believers learn that every power remains subject to the will of Allah.
Lessons from Islamic History
The lesson is not new.
At Badr, a small Muslim force stood against a much larger army.
At Karbala, Imam Hussain (A.S.) stood with a handful of companions against overwhelming numbers.
In both cases, believers drew the same conclusion. Numbers and weapons alone do not determine the value of a cause.
Faith as the Real Source of Strength
Because of this belief, many people across the region view recent events through a spiritual lens rather than a purely military one. They argue that missiles, drones, warships, and military bases do not create real strength. Instead, these tools only represent material power.
Faith remains the true source of strength.
Faith gives courage when fear dominates.
Faith gives patience during hardship.
Faith gives people the ability to endure when circumstances appear impossible.
Resilience Through Trust in Allah
Throughout decades of sanctions, pressure, threats, and conflict, supporters of Iran have pointed to this belief as the foundation of resilience. They consider scientific achievements, military capabilities, and technological progress important accomplishments. Even so, they do not view them as the ultimate source of success.
For them, trust in Allah remains the foundation.
The Holy Quran reminds believers:
“And victory is not except from Allah, the Almighty, the Wise.” (Quran 3:126)
Worldly Power Is Temporary
This principle transforms the way believers view power.
A warship may appear powerful.
A missile may appear powerful.
A military alliance may appear powerful.
Yet all worldly power remains temporary.
Empires rise and fall.
Armies are built and destroyed.
Weapons become obsolete.
However, the power of Allah remains eternal.
More Than a Slogan
For this reason, the story of resistance is not ultimately about military hardware. Instead, it is about belief. It is about people who refuse to surrender because they believe that material strength alone does not determine their fate.
All Power Belongs to Allah is therefore more than a slogan.
It is a declaration that the ultimate Superpower is not any nation, army, or government.
It is Allah.
When believers place their trust in Him, they discover a strength greater than fear, greater than weapons, and greater than any worldly power.
